Hovsep Guerboyan

Born in Beirut in 1982.
Raised in Bourj-Hammoud up until they built the Yerevan bridge erasing all traces of the neighborhood where I grew up.

Graduated from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts in 2005 with a degree in advertising where I also teach part time.

Did my first exhibition in 2007 at Zico House titled “stranger” consisting of 62 10x14cm watercolour portraits selected from over 600.

Participated at the 28th "Salon d'Automne du Musée Sursock" in 2008 with a series of portraits of couples titled “Romeo & Juliet”


I recently (2016) became a father
and an active painter again.
